CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE H.S. MADAAN Present:- Mr. Manoj Kumar, Advocate for the petitioner Mr. Deepinder Singh Brar, Advocate for U.T. Chandigarh. Mr. Saurabh Arora, Advocate for the complainant. *** Vide last order dated 15.1.2018, the petitioner was directed to appear before the investigating officer on 5.2.2018 and 6.2.2018 at 10.00 A.M. observing that in case of non compliance, the petition would be liable to be dismissed. Learned State counsel on instructions from SI Lakhbir Singh states that the petitioner had not contacted him on those dates. Although this contention is refuted by learned counsel for the petitioner stating that petitioner had gone to the investigating officer but was not allowed to join the investigation but then he could not convince me as to why the Court was not informed in that regard at the earliest.
Obviously the direction passed by this Court vide last order has not been complied with. Therefore, the petition stands dismissed. (H.S. MADAAN) JUDGE March 01, 2018 p.singh Whether speaking/reasoned Yes/No Whether Reportable Yes/No Parvinder Singh 2018.03.
