Learned counsel appearing for the second respondent/NHAI submits that in compliance to order, dated 18.03.2025, the due amount of interest at the rate of nine per cent and fifteen per cent on solatium amounting to ₹63,39,069 has been deposited by the Project Director, National Highways Authority of India, Jalandhar, with the competent authority-cum- Sub Divisional Magistrate, Mukerian/third respondent vide Seema 2025.05.30 14:36 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

 

 letter dated 27.05.2025; a copy whereof has been produced in the Court, which is retained on the case file as Annexure- 'A'. 2.

It is not disputed that the deposited amount is payable to the petitioners in terms of order, dated 26.04.2023, rendered by this Court in FAO-3342-2019.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to release the aforementioned amount to the petitioners forthwith. However, in case the petitioners have any remaining claims, they will be at liberty to take recourse to the remedies available in accordance with law.
