JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL -.- AMIT RAWAL J.(ORAL) The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of direction to official respondents No.2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of private respondents No.4 to 9.

Petitioner No.1 is stated to be major and petitioner No.2 is about three months short in attaining the majority. They have solemnized marriage on 16.06.2018 against the wishes of their parents. Factum of marriage has been pleaded with reference to photographs (Annexure P-3). Petitioners have an apprehension at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 9 and in this regard, they have submitted a representation dated 16.06.2018 (Annexure P-4) to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur-respondent No.2, but no action has been taken so far.
