Instant petition has been filed inter alia for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 and 2, to recover the amount from respondents No.3 to 6, and pay the same to the petitioner on account of damaged jute bags and polypropylene bags as also to pay the storage charges in respect of the said bags.

Counsel for the petitioner as well as the respondents concede that a similar dispute came up for adjudication before this Court and was decided vide order dated 19.03.2024, passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CWP10347-2015, titled as Punjab State Warehousing Corporation Versus State of Punjab and others.
