**** INDERJIT SINGH, J.

Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.135 dated 11.05.2017 under Section 306 IPC, registered at Police Station Sector-34, Chandigarh. Notice of motion was issued. Learned State counsel appeared and contested the petition.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. From the record, I find that FIR in the present case has been got registered by Gyanti Devi. All the allegations have been levelled against the present petitioner showing that the present petitioner used to harass the deceased unreasonably, who was working as a Sweeper at Keshav Security Vineet Gulati 2017.08.01 16:13 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM No.M-25473 of 2017 -2Service. The deceased Vinay was beaten up badly 2-3 days back. Threatening to kill him was also given by the accused in case he informs the matter to anybody. As per the allegations, deceased Vinay jumped from the 5th floor on that day. It is further alleged that deceased was called on duty at about 8.00 a.m. and he was kept sitting with the accused. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case, nature and gravity of the offence, I find that petitioner is required for custodial interrogation and he is not entitled to benefit of anticipatory bail. Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
