The present appeal pertains to the year 1997. Vide order dated 16.01.2024 notices were issued to the parties. As per the service report, sole appellant stands duly served. However, none has put in appearance on his behalf despite service. It appears that the appellant is not interested in pursuing the present appeal. Respondent No.1(i) is stated to have died. Respondent Nos.1(ii) to 1(vi) stand duly served. However, none has also put in appearance on their behalf.

In view thereof, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution. 3.
Dismissed for non-prosecution with liberty to revive in case anything survives in the matter. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
