The petitioners are seeking protection of their life and liberty. Learned State counsel upon instructions from ASI Sukha Singh, Police Station Lehra, District Sangrur contends that statements of private respondents have been recorded wherein they have stated that they will not harass the petitioners and petitioner No.1 has also recorded her statement that she is satisfied with the assurance given by the private respondents.
