The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 19.12.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-37891-2025, whereby without commenting upon the merits of the case, writ petition was disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the legal notice dated 08.11.2025 served by the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in compliance of order dated 19.12.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-37891-2025, a speaking order dated 20.04.2026 has been passed by the Director School Education (Secondary), Punjab, after considering the case of the petitioners. In view of the above, since order dated 19.12.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-37891-2025, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 5.
Needless to say that the petitioners are at liberty to avail remedy as is available to them in accordance with law to challenge the said speaking order dated 20.04.2026.
