Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of respondents No. 4 to 11.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 30.12.2014. Certificate (Annexure P-3) in this regard has been issued by Gurudwara Akal Bunga Sahib, Patshahi 10, Shahidan Singhan, Village Bhago Majra, Post Office Singh Bhagwantpura, District Ropar. Photographs of marriage ceremony are annexed as Annexure P-4. He has further submitted that the petitioners have moved a representation to Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar (Ropar) respondent No. 2 (Annexure P-5) but no action has been taken so far.
