**** JAGMOHAN BANSAL , J. (Oral) The petitioner through instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is seeking quashing of FIR No.0606 dated 09.12.2022 registered at Police Station Mahesh Nagar, Ambala, under Sections 323/34/406/498A/506 of IPC. Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that the petitioner is brother-in-law (devar) of the complainant. The petitioner is a practising advocate. Marriage of the complainant took place prior to the marriage of the petitioner. The complainant initially was residing happily with the family members of the petitioner, however, on account of demand to stay separate, problem arose with the family. The complainant lodged a complaint with police in October 2022 against her husband and other family members. The matter was settled vide compromise dated 18.10.2022, however, complainant resiled from compromise and got registered the impugned FIR.
