SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 7, parents and other relatives of petitioner No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 24.07.2015 (Annexure P-4) made by petitioner No.1. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Paramjit Kaur is 20.09.1995 as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2-Jarnail Singh is 02.12.1987 as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-2). They got married on 24.07.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-5.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of SACHIN MEHTA 2015.08.05 14:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
