Short reply dated 07.05.2026, filed by way of an affidavit of Sh. Krishan Kumar, Executive Engineer, Constrution Division, Public Works Department (B&R), Chandigarh, on behalf of respondent No.4, is taken on record. Registry to tag the same at the appropriate place. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondents informs that subsequent to the filing of the status report, LPA-1092-2026 has been decided vide order dated 15.05.2026. Copy of the said order has been submitted in the Court today, which is taken on record.

As per the aforesaid order, the State has been directed to examine individual cases of the writ petitioners for regularization, keeping in view the policy mentioned therein. It has been further directed that status SIMRANDEEP KAUR 2026.05.26 17:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP-1071-2026 (O&M) quo with regard to the working of the employees would be maintained till the orders are passed by the authorities.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner intends to file a review application to the aforesaid order dated 15.05.2026. 5.

In view of the above, the present petition has rendered infructuous at this stage and the same is disposed of accordingly. 6.

However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedy as per law.
