JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL -.- AMIT RAWAL J.(ORAL) The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of direction to official respondents No.2 & 3 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of private respondent No.4 & 5.

Petitioners are stated to be major and have solemnized marriage on 19.06.2018 against the wishes of their parents. Factum of marriage has been pleaded with reference to marriage certificate (Annexure P-3) and photographs (Annexure P-4). Petitioners have an apprehension at the hands of private respondent No.4 & 5 and in this regard, they have submitted a representation dated 19.06.2018 (Annexure P-5) to the Superintendent of Police, Karnal-respondent No.2, but no action has been taken so far.

The present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Karnal to look into the representation of the petitioners and decide the same and if required, PANKAJ KUMAR 2018.06.23 15:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
