Learned counsel for the respondents has fairly submitted that in pursuance of order passed by this Court, the amount of 20,000/- as ₹ litigation expenses by way of demand draft has been handed over to the counsel for the petitioner, who has reiterated the said fact. It is further submitted on behalf of the respondents that against the judgment of the learned Single Judge of which the contempt is alleged, the respondents-State has filed an LPA i.e. LPA-1270-2026 and in the said case, as per instructions, notice of motion has been issued and interim order has also been passed in favour of the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in view of the same, the present contempt petition be disposed of but liberty be granted to the petitioner to revive the same/file a fresh contempt petition in case the abovesaid fact is found to be not correct or after the decision of the said LPA in PUNEET SACHDEVA 2026.05.07 17:10 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

In view of the above, the present contempt petition is disposed of with liberty aforesaid.
