Present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus seeking direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from respondent No.4. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was harassed by private respondent, and was threatened him, and private respondents also abused him publicly. In this regard, the petitioner has moved a representation dated 20.01.2026 (Annexure P-8), but no action has been taken so far.

CRWP-2726-2026 (O&M) ( 2 ) received from the present petitioner and both the parties were called in the police station and the matter was compromised. He also apprised that even action under Section 126 of BNS is taken against respondent No.4-Sandeep Singh and also submitted that representation (Annexure P-8) will be looked into and action be taken in accordance with law. 5.

Keeping in view the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab, to consider the representation dated 20.01.2026 (Annexure P-8), and to take appropriate action in accordance with law.
