(ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.59 dated 25.11.2020 under Sections 364-A, 323, 341 IPC registered at Police Station Sadar Mahendergarh. Counsel for the petitioner herein would contend that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the said matter. It is argued that an accident took place, which resulted in damage to a vehicle. It is further argued that all allegations regarding abduction for ransom are false. The investigation has been completed and the challan stands presented. The trial is likely to take some time to conclude and therefore, prays for concession of bail to the petitioner.

Appearance has been on behalf of the complainant by Mr. Navin Kashyap, Advocate, who admits to the factum of matter being compromised.

CRM-M No.17642 of 2021 (O&M) -2the fact that the matter has been compromised between the parties to the dispute and the trial is likely to take some time to conclude owing to COVID-19 pandemic,, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the petitioner behind bars. The instant petition is allowed and the petitioner is directed to be released on regular bail on execution of adequate personal/surety bond to the satisfaction of concerned trial Court/Duty Magistrate. However, any observation made herein shall not be construed to be an expression on merits of the case.
