HARPREET SINGH BRAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No.0146 dated 28.12.2024 registered under Sections 333, 118(2), 115(2), 324(4), 191(3), 190 and 238 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (in short 'BNS, 2023') at Police Station Bhindi Saidan, District Amritsar Rural. Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that after filing of the present petition, a compromise has been effected between the parties and the petitioner has filed a separate petition before this Court under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, seeking quashing of the FIR (supra), on the basis of compromise and this Court vide order dated 22.07.2025, passed in CRM-M No.28203 of 2025, has allowed the said petition and quash the FIR (supra).

CRM-M-13735-2025 Learned State counsel has filed the custody certificate today in the Court, which is taken on record and he could not controvert the fact that the FIR (supra) itself has been quashed by this Court vide order dated 22.07.2025, passed in CRM-M-28203-2025. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned Jail Authorities to release the petitioner forthwith, if he is not required in any other case.
