Vide order dated 21.12.2023, on the request of the learned counsel for the parties, the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court. Report has been received from the Mediator wherein it has been stated that the mediation was a non-starter as notices issued to the appellant and the respondent have been received back with the report that both the appellant and the respondent have since died. No one has come forward to get themselves impleaded as legal representatives of the appellant and the respondent nor any application has been filed by the counsel for impleadment. In view thereof, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution.
