***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioner, who is working as a washing boy, has impugned the transfer order dated 06.03.2019, Annexure P-3, from Punjab Roadway, Amritsar-1, Amritsar to Punjab Roadways, Pathankot. The ground for challenge is that the order has not been passed by the competent authority. Besides, petitioner is due to retire next year and, thus, cannot be transferred as per policy. According to the counsel, he has instructions that the petitioner does not intend to seek any extension in service. On the last date of hearing, a copy of the petition was handed over to learned State counsel. He, today, submits that the matter shall be looked into by the competent authority within ten days from today. In view of above, no further order needs to be passed. Disposed of.
