The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.39 dated 05.06.2016 under Sections 420, and 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Sadar Rampura, District Bathinda.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

From the record, I find that the FIR in the present case has been got registered against Parwinder Singh and one Baljit Kaur on the allegations that they have cheated the complainant to the tune of `4,10,000/- on the pretext of sending the complainant abroad. Parwinder Singh petitioner is the main accused against whom the allegations are levelled regarding giving money etc. and not sending the complainant to abroad. CRM No.M-26586 of 2016 -2the fact that petitioner is required for custodial interrogation, I do not find it a fit case where petitioner is entitled for benefit of anticipatory bail. In no way, the case of present petitioner is on parity with Baljit Kaur, who has already been released on anticipatory bail. No benefit can be given to present petitioner on this ground also.
