**** AMIT RAWAL, J. (ORAL) The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to official respondents to protect their life and liberty from the hands of private respondents.

The petitioners are stated to be major and have solemnized marriage on 21.06.2018 which is against the wishes of their parents. The factum of marriage has been pleaded with reference to Marriage Certificate (Annexure P-4) and photographs (Annexure P-3). The petitioners have an apprehension at the hands of private respondent Nos.4 to 8 and in this regard, they have submitted a representation dated 21.06.2018 (Annexure P-5) to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala/respondent No.2, but no action has been taken so far.

The present petition is disposed of with the direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala/respondent No.2 to look into the Yogesh Sharma 2018.06.23 14:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
