Versus
Jagdish Kumar and Others ......Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL ****
Present:
None for the parties.
**** AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL, J. (Oral) 1.
There is no representation on behalf of the parties. 2.
As per the report of the Registry, intimation regarding the pendency of the present case was duly conveyed to learned counsel for the appellants through e-mail. A perusal of the case file reveals that even on the previous date of hearing, neither the appellants nor anyone on their behalf had appeared before this Court. Even today, there is no representation on their behalf.
3.
In the aforesaid circumstances, it is evident that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the present appeal pending on the docket of the Court for an indefinite period. 4.
It, therefore, appears that the appellants are no longer interested in prosecuting the present appeal. 5.
Accordingly, the present appeal is dismissed in default for want of prosecution.
KANCHAN 2026.05.08 12:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment -1-
FAO-2743-2001 6.
However, liberty is granted to the appellants to seek restoration/revival of the appeal in accordance with law, in case any sufficient cause survives for consideration.
7.
Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of accordingly.
