Learned counsel for the appellants submits that he has been informed telephonically that the present case has been rendered infructuous as the matter has been settled between the parties. However, learned counsel seeks some time to place on record the said settlement. Learned counsel for LRs of respondent No.1 seeks some time to confirm the aforesaid facts as submitted by learned counsel for the appellants and to update his instructions.
At joint request, adjourned to 09.02.2024."

Today learned counsel appearing for the appellants states that he has received no instructions in writing for the compromise. Learned counsel for LRs of respondent No.1 also states that there is no response in the letter written by him.
