Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, certiorari or any other suitable writ direction or order quashing the decision of BOD of the respondent-Corporation taken in its 156th meeting held on 09.08.2002, vide which the BOD has reiterated its earlier decision taken in its meeting held on 18.02.1999 and its action in cancelling the promotion granted to the petitioner and seeking to give him promotion from a subsequent date.
