(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been made for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, namely, Jagtar Singh @ Jaggi in case FIR No.168 dated 11.7.2014 under section 21/22/61/85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, Act, 1985 (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"). Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that earlier the petitioner was granted regular bail, but on account of his absence on one date, i.e., 20.5.2016, he has been declared Proclaimed Offender. The petitioner was arrested on 4.3.2017. Since then, he is in custody. Considering over-all facts and circumstances of the case, the application is allowed. The petitioner is admitted to regular bail subject to his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs.2 lac, with two sound sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial court. 25.7.2017 ( RAMENDRA JAIN ) VK JUDGE 1.
