Status report dated 21.11.2019, filed by way of affidavit of Dr. Simrat Kaur, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Begowal, District Kapurthala, on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 4 is taken on record.

In para 5 of the aforesaid status report, it has been mentioned that after completion of investigation it was found that offence under Section 306/34 was not made out against accused/respondents No. 5 and 6, namely, Sarabjit Singh and Baljit Kaur. Therefore, cancellation report dated 13.06.2017 was prepared and presented before the learned trial Court. The same was accepted by the trial Court vide order dated 08.12.2018.
