The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 25.08.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-20695-2025, whereby direction was issued to the respondent to consider and decide the legal notice submitted by the petitioner. 2.

In compliance of the order dated 25.08.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-20695-2025, learned counsel for the respondent has produced a reply by way of short affidavit dated 16.04.2026 of Navreet Kaur Sekhon, Additional Deputy Commissioner Urban Development, Patiala, along with speaking order dated 13.03.2026 (Annexure A), on behalf of the respondent in the Court. A perusal of the said reply shows that order dated 25.08.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-20695-2025 has been complied with. 4.

In view of the above, since order dated 25.08.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-20695-2025, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 5.

Needless to say that the petitioner is at liberty to avail remedy as is available to him in accordance with law to challenge the said speaking order dated 13.03.2026.
