there is nothing on record to connect the petitioner with the alleged offence. No recovery is to be effected from the petitioner, and his custodial interrogation is not required. Learned counsel also submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency and shall fully cooperate with the investigation. On these grounds, it is prayed that the present petition be allowed. 4.

/ allegations levelled against the petitioner are serious in nature. He further contends that the petitioner was an active member of unlawful assembly and he forcibly entered the house of complainant and extorted an amount of Rs.50,000/- from the complainant at pistol point and also threatened him to arrange some more amount. Thus, his custodial interrogation is required for effective investigation and as such, he does not deserve any concession from this Court.
