The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 seeking quashing of FIR No.8 dated 22.02.2016 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 307, 148, 149 IPC, 1860 and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959 (Section 427 IPC, 1860 added subsequently) registered at Police Station Garhdiwal, District Hoshiarpur and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 04.01.2025 (Annexure P-3).

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty, to file fresh with better particulars. 3.

Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty aforesaid.
