Mr. Amrik Singh, Advocate for the petitioner. *** SUDHIR MITTAL, J. (Oral) The petitioner alleges that he has purchased the land in dispute from the previous owners who were in a protracted litigation with respondent No.3-Panchayat Samiti. Respondent No.3 had claimed title in respect of the land in dispute but, they failed upto the Supreme Court of India. Thus, the action of entering Nagar Counsil as the owner of the land in dispute in the assessment register is illegal. On account of the said entry, the petitioner is not able being to get building plan sanctioned. Legal notice dated 27.09.2021 (Annexure P-8) has been submitted but no order has been passed thereupon. Notice of motion.
Mr. Arun K. Kaundal, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.1 and waives service At the asking of the Court, he also accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.2 and 3 and waives service.
