(ORAL) By way of present petition filed under Section 482 CrPC, prayer has been made for quashing of order dated 28.11.2023 passed by the learned Judge, Special court, SAS Nagar (Mohali) whereby, the bail of the petitioner has been cancelled followed by forfeiture of the bail/surety bonds on account of his non-appearance.

Having argued for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition and submits that petitioner would surrender before the Court concerned within a period of one week from today and move an appropriate application for seeking regular bail. In view of the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, in case the petitioner surrenders within a period of one week from today and moves an application for grant of regular bail, the Court concerned is requested to dispose of the same within a period of two days.
