(Oral) Report dated 27.8.2014 of learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Ferozepur has been received after recording statements of accused Harmeet Singh as well as complainant Nachhattar Singh and injured Sukhjinder Singh and the learned court has shown its satisfaction that the compromise is an outcome of voluntariness, free will and without any coercion or undue pressure. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also placed on record copies of orders passed by Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Ferozepur whereby the complainant-Nachhattar Singh and injured-Sukhjinder Singh have received the compensation in a compromise arrived before the Lok Adalat. In the light of the satisfaction shown by the Court and in view of DALBIR SINGH TIWANA 2016.02.08 11:09 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
Criminal Misc. No. M-26017 of 2014 -2the fact that compromise will go a long way in resolving the personal dispute and to bring about personal harmony and in view of the law laid down in Gian Singh vs State of Punjab and another, 2012 (4) RCR (Criminal) 543 and Kulwinder Singh and others vs State of Punjab and another, 2007(3) RCR (Criminal) 1052 and in view of which the prayer made in the petition is allowed, proceedings by way of FIR No. 9 dated 3.2.2012 registered at Police Station Mamdot, District Ferozepur under sections 304-A, 279, 337, 338, 427 IPC and all consequences arising thereof are quashed qua the present petitioners. The petition stands allowed in those terms.
