Mr. Neeraj Madaan, Advocate for the petitioners. ANIL KSHETARPAL, J. (Oral) Petitioners are present in the Court. They are duly identified by their counsel. Petitioners assert that they have married against the wishes of parents of petitioner No.1. Petition is also supported by the affidavits of both the petitioners. Petitioners are also alleged to have submitted a representation (Annexure P-5) to the Senior Superintendent of Police, District Fazilka.

Keeping in view the assertions made, the petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation (Annexure P5) after granting opportunity of hearing to respondents No.4 to 6 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. In the meantime, appropriate steps be taken to ensure the protection of life and liberty of petitioners from respondents No.4 to 6. If the petitioners are found to be involved in any criminal case, this order would not come in the way of the Investigating Agency to take action in accordance with law.

Hence, this petition is disposed of.
