This is petition seeking protection to life and liberty of the petitioner, who is aggrieved, because of the fact that respondents No. 3 to 6 are raiding her house without any warrant. She had made representation (Annexure P-6) to Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar to this effect.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar to look into the representation (Annexure P-6), verify the facts and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

It is, however, made clear that nothing contained in this order shall be interpreted as giving any type of liberty or protection to the petitioner in any criminal, civil or other proceedings pending or instituted against her.
