The present appeal pertains to the year 1996. Vide order dated 15.11.2023 notices were issued to the parties. As per the service report, appellant stand duly served through Head Constable of the area concerned. Respondent No.1 is stated to have died. Respondents No.2, 4 and 5 stand duly served. Notice issued to respondent No.3 has not been received back served or otherwise. Despite service, no one has put in appearance on behalf of the appellant. Mr. B.P.S. Virk, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondents No.2, 4 and 5 and has filed his power of attorney, which is taken on record.

In view thereof, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution. 3.

Dismissed for non-prosecution with liberty to revive in case anything survives in the matter. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
