Poonam Rani v. State Of Haryana And Another
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH ***** CWP No.9065 of 2021 Date of Decision : 31.1.2024 Poonam Rani ..... Petitioner versus State of Haryana and another ..... Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA Present: Mr. Anish Batra, Advocate, for the petitioner Mr. Rohit Arya, DAG, Haryana --- TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA J. (ORAL):
The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a direction to the respondents to allow the petitioner to work from home during COVID-19 pandemic as per guidelines of the government, and release salary to her for the period of absence.
2.
Learned State counsel contends that the first prayer of the petitioner is not maintainable at this stage, since the pandemic is over and regular functioning in the schools has been restored long back. The second prayer of the petitioner has already been met, as she has been released due salary and the period of absence has been treated as 'leave of kind due', as is apparent from the letters/orders, Annexures R-1 to R-4. 3.
The facts aforementioned have not been disputed by the petitioner before this Court.
4.
In view thereof, nothing survives in the petition, and the same stands disposed of.
