ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioners herein, inter alia, seek issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to make the payment of one month salary in lieu of Leave Travel Concession (LTC) duly admissible to them for the Block year 2016-2019 with interest @ 18% from the due date till the date of actual payment to them.

Petitioners are the regular employees of the Haryana State Transport Department and are working on their respective posts of Drivers and Conductors in the Office of respondent No.3-General Manager, State Transport Department, Haryana Depot, Jind. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the employees of Haryana Government are governed by the Haryana Civil Services General (Rules) 2016 and are entitled for new Scheme regulating Leave Travel Concession for visiting Home Town and any place of India. Hence, for getting the benefit of Leave Travel Concession for the Block year 2016-2019, they applied for payment of one month salary in cash to them but the same is being delayed by the respondents even though the list for payment has been prepared by respondent No.3.

Petitioners also submitted representation dated 03.12.2021 (Annexure P-7) but the same has not been adverted till date. Hence the petition.

On advance service, learned state counsel appears and submits that a decision will be taken by competent authority, either way, on the pending representation dated 03.12.2021 (Annexure P-7) by passing a speaking order.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners also seek decision on the pending representation as suggested by learned State counsel.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to look into the representation dated 03.12.2021 (Annexure P-7) of the petitioners and pass an administrative order, in accordance with law. 8.

Let the needful be done as expeditiously as possible. 9.

Disposed of accordingly.
