This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 97 dated 29.07.2014 under Sections 15/18/21/22/61/85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Bhogpur, district Jalandhar.

Learned counsel for the State (on instructions from H.C. Sukhpal Singh, who is present in court) submits that pursuant to order dated September 03, 2015, petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, order dated September 03, 2015 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
