Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 135 dated 27.5.2015 under Section 326, 324, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Jandiala, Amritsar. Prosecution story, in brief, is that Jagbir Singh was inflicted injuries by the petitioner and his co-accused. Petitioner was allegedly armed with a datar at the time of occurrence and had inflicted injuries on the person of the complainant. Petitioner is attributed four injuries on the person of the complainant. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely involved in this case due to previous enmity between the parties.

Learned State counsel, on the other hand, has opposed the petition.

In the present case, the injured had suffered 10 injuries. Out of the said injuries, one injury was declared grievous GURPREET SINGH 2015.08.25 15:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Keeping in view the seriousness of allegations levelled against the petitioner, no ground for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made out.
