As per report received from Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties. The petitioner has handed over a draft in the sum of Rs.25,000/- drawn at Vijaya Bank to the complainant. The complainant concedes this fact. The complainant states that he has no objection if interim bail granted to the petitioner is made absolute.
Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Rohan from Police Station Nurpur Bedi, District Roopnagar states that since the petitioner has joined the investigation and no recovery is to be effected from him. Since the matter has been compromised between the petitioner and the complainant, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the cheque in Parvinder Singh 2017.11.15 15:26 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
CRM-M-26177 of 2017 question has since been handed over by the petitioner to the complainant. This fact is admitted by the complainant and his counsel. Learned State counsel submits that petitioner is not required by the police for further investigation. Under such circumstances, the interim bail granted to the petitioner on 24.7.2017 is made absolute, subject to his fulfilling conditions under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
The petition stands allowed accordingly.
