IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH FAO No. 1240 of 2003 DATE OF DECISION :- 08.12.2025 Shamsher Singh ...Appellant

Versus

Mohinder Singh and others

...Respondents

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIRINDER AGGARWAL Present:- None for the appellant.

Mr. Rishav Jain, Advocate with Mr. Shivraj Singla, Advocate for respondents No. 1 and 2. Mr. Sandeep Suri, Advocate for respondent No. 3. *** VIRINDER AGGARWAL , J. (Oral) 1.

This is a fully burnt case. The appeal pertains to the year 2003 and is a very old matter. No one has appeared on behalf of the appellant. Even none has appeared before the Mediator for amicable settlement on behalf of the appellant. It seems that appellant is not interested in pursuing the instant appeal. 2.

In view of the above and given the prevailing circumstances, there seems to be no justification to keep the appeal on the docket, indefinitely. Accordingly, the instant appeal stands dismissed for want of prosecution with liberty to the appellant to revive the same, if have any grievance from this order, within a period of three months from today.

(VIRINDER AGGARWAL) JUDGE 08.12.2025 P.Singh Whether speaking/reasoned Yes/No Whether Reportable Yes/No PARVINDER SINGH 2025.12.09 12:04 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
