Present appeal pertains to the year 1997. As per office report, counsel for the appellant has been informed of the date fixed vide letter No.12751 dated 22.08.2024. However, none has put in appearance on behalf of the appellant.

In view of the above, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution. 3.

Dismissed for non-prosecution with liberty to revive in case anything survives in the matter. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
