**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying for issuance of a direction to respondents No. 2 & 3 not to harass the petitioner.

Notice of motion has been issued in this case and pursuant thereto a status report by way of an affidavit of Bhupinder Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib has been filed in Court today and the same is taken on the record. A copy of the said status report has been handed over to the counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

In the status report filed, it is stated that the petitioner Hardeep Satyawan 2018.08.08 16:48 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

CRM-M-26208-2017 -2Kaur has got a statement recorded before the concerned authorities that she is now residing with one Jaswinder Kumar @ Jashan son of Lal Chand resident of Mandi Lakhewali with her own free volition and also without any fear or pressure of any kind and she is not facing any danger from anyone. At this time, she is not in need of any police protection and if she would be in need of police protection, she would approach the police again. Jaswinder Kumar @ Jashan son of Lal Chand also got his statement recorded before the police, wherein it has been stated that Hardeep Kaur is residing in his house with his family with her free volition and consent and he or Hardeep Kaur is not facing any kind of danger. Statement of Major Singh (respondent No.4) was also got recorded stating that he has no intention of having linkage or relationship with Hardeep Kaur while further stating that he would not cause her any danger. In view of the reply that has been filed, no further action is called for in this petition.
