M.M.S. BEDI, J (ORAL) A copy of the settlement arrived at before Hon'ble the Supreme Court has been placed on record.
It appears that the criminal case along with other litigation pending between the parties were to be settled after finalization of petition under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act and on payment of a sum of Rs.36 lacs. The order passed by Hon'ble the Supreme Court on the basis of the settlement is binding on all the authorities and Courts as per Articles 141 of the Constitution of India. This petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court again in case the directions of Hon'ble the Supreme Court are not complied with by any of the Courts or authorities by continuing or proceeding with the litigation. It will be open to the petitioner to submit representation to any of the authorities along with a copy of the order of Hon'ble the Supreme Court.
