Petitioner No.1 -Radha aged about 35 years and petitioner No.2 Sohan Singh aged about 33 years having a live-in-relationship have approached this Court by way of filing the present writ petition, seeking protection from the hands of private respondents i.e. respondents no. 4 to 10.

Heard.

As a matter of fact, by way of filing the present petition, the petitioners want a seal of approval from this court on their live-inrelationship, which cannot be allowed. The petition stands dismissed accordingly.

CRWP No. 3434 of 2020 -2However, it is observed that if the petitioners submit any representation to respondent No.2- the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, he may evaluate the threat perception to the petitioners and if he finds that such threat is actually there, then he may ensure that no physical harm is caused to the petitioners at the hands of private respondents or persons claiming under them. Needless to say the petitioners would remain liable for any civil or criminal action as per law.
