State of Punjab and others .............Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH Present:- Mr.Ramandeep Singh,Advocate for the petitioner Mr.Kirat Singh Sidhu,Deputy Advocate General for State of Punjab Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Prayer made in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.PC is for transfer of investigation in FIR No.92 dated 14.10.2014 for the offences under Sections 307,323, 325,440, 427, 294,341, 506, 148,149 IPC and 25/54/59 of the Arms Act, PS Naya Graon,Distt.SAS Nagar (P-1) by a senior officer outside Distt.SAS Nagar. It was alleged that inspite of FIR lodged on 14.10.2014 containing serious allegations as also medical evidence, yet no action was being taken by the police against accused persons.

Vide order dated 10.8.2015 while issuing notice of motion, status report by way of affidavit of SSP Mohali revealing stage of investigation was sought.

In compliance of the said order Mr.Ashish Kapoor, SP City,Mohali has come present today with the affidavit of Mr.G.S.Bhullar,IPS,SSP Mohali.

In the affidavit it is stated that keeping in view the RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2015.08.21 10:46 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.

CRM-M 26238/2015 seriousness of the allegations levelled in the FIR, a Special Investigation Team headed by SP and comprising DSP City-1,SAS Nagar and SHO PS Naya Gaon has been constituted to conduct investigations in a prompt, fair and effective manner and to conclude the same expeditiously.

Mr.Ashish Kapoor, SP City,Mohali assures the Court that the investigations would be conducted and taken to its logical end at the earliest.

In view of the contents of the affidavit and assurance given by SP City Mohali, no further orders are required to be passed. Disposed of accordingly.
