R.P. Nagrath, J. (Oral) Petitioner seeks bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C. in FIR No. 289 dated 29.06.2013 for offence under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, registered at Police Station Tripuri Town, Patiala, District Patiala. Learned counsel for the State of Punjab has filed the response of Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Punjab in deference to the order dated 31.10.2014 in CRM-M-29012 of 2014. The policy/guidelines (Annexure R-1) has been attached with the affidavit with regard to use of private vehicle by the police officials. State of Haryana has already filed such a policy dated 24.02.2015.

No further indulgence of this Court is required as the trial of the accused person has since been concluded. The instant petition has been rendered infructuous and the same is disposed of as such.
