(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in a case arising out of F.I.R No. 36 of 01.05.2016, under Sections 354A/451/506/34 IPC and 354 IPC and 7/8/9/10 of POCSO Act (added lateron), registered at P.S. Jaitu, District Faridkot.

Learned State counsel on instructions from the Investigating Officer, states that in compliance of the order dated 08.08.2016 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation on 16.08.2016 and custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no longer required required. Further the role attributed to the petitioner that he was standing outside the gate and his co-accused Yadwinder Singh @ Yaddu has already been granted bail.

In view of the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case, order dated 08.08.2016 passed by this Court whereby the ad-interim anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner is made absolute. Crl. Misc. No. M-27213 of 2016 (O&M) as envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C However, the petitioner is at liberty to file fresh bail bonds after presentation of the challan.
