(ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed seeking a direction to the official respondents not to harass the petitioners on account of any false representation that might have been made by respondent No.4 as well as to look into the representation filed by the petitioners, which is annexed as Annexure P-5 with this petition.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners contends that a marriage was solemnized between respondent No.4 and the son of the petitioners, however, the same was not successful on account of the fact that respondent No.4 was already in a relationship with some other person. There are various documents and affidavits in their possession which would fortify their stand. A representation has already been moved to Inspector General, Patiala, Range Patiala to look into the matter but no action has been taken thereon.

CRM-M-27308-2018 -2Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that he would be satisfied at the present moment in case the representation which is annexed as Annexure P-5 with this petition which has been handed over on 04.06.2018, is decided in accordance with law, in a time bound manner. Notice of motion.

Ms. Rajni Gupta, learned Sr. DAG, Punjab who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. Three copies of the petition be handed over to her by learned counsel for the petitioners during the course of the day failing which no action is called for. She submits that representation (Annexure P-5) will be decided within a period of four weeks.

Heard.

Without going into the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide representation (Annexure P-5) within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order and take necessary action in accordance with law.
