Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. against State of Punjab and other respondents of issuance of directions to respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and direction respondent No.3 not to harass the petitioners and to ensure that the petitioners are not harassed at the hands of respondents No.4 to 7 etc. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

The perusal of the representation nowhere shows any serious threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner. No DDR has ever been got recorded for any such threat etc. The perusal of the representation shows that there is some dispute between the parties regarding demarcation of panchayat agricultural land etc. and the allegation is that these persons want Vineet Gulati 2017.07.28 10:23 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh to extract money from the complainant-petitioner forcibly.

CRM No.M-26375 of 2017 -2In view of the above discussion, I do not find that there is any serious threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner. Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
